About the Map...
The Coffee Map is a printed, illustrated trail map for 30 of Norwich’s most loved independent Coffee Spots around the city with a further 7 County Coffees when you wish for a slower day away from the City.
Created by Sarah, and hand illustrated by local artist Beverley Coraldean, it is ‘More Than a Map’! There’s dated comment boxes with spaces to score your coffee experience, facts about Norwich and Norfolk, and a helpful key for early and late openings, sweet and savoury options, and very importantly if they are dog friendly indoors or outside! You can even colour it in for a bit of mindfulness!
Whether it’s solo coffee dates, weekend catch-ups, or spontaneous discoveries, this is your invitation to experience the coffee scene a little differently.
It’s designed to be unfolded, explored, personalised, and kept forever.

THE BIRTH OF THE COFFEE MAP...
One very cold day in December last year, I was sat outside one of our favourite post-ride coffee shops with friends talking about … coffee! We were chatting about all the excellent independent coffee shops we ride to, walk to and explore in and around Norwich and Norfolk and how each place has its own personality, community and atmosphere.
There have been a couple of local independent coffee spots who have genuinely saved me during some very dark and difficult periods following experiences in my front-line career. They provided more than coffee; they gave me a safe, warm, welcoming space, a friendly face, and somewhere I felt comfortable simply existing on difficult days.
